CAD DESIGNS.
CHAIRS IN WOOD, ABOVE, AND DIFFERENT MATERIALS BELOW. BOTH CUT OUT AND FULL MODELS. THE CUT OUT MODEL IS A GOOD BASE FOR FURTHER ALTERATIONS TO THE SEAT DESIGN. ITS ALSO MORE ERGONOMIC. THINKING ABOUT EITHER HANGING FABRIC, EXPRESSED COPPER/ METAL (WEIGHT ISSUE) TUBES AS RAILS, OR TRADITIONAL SLATS OE EDGE APPROACH. TIME TO CHAT TO IAN.

Model of Cow Stool.
Section of stool.Using a milkcrate as a size comparison. Id like to stretch it 30-40 mms taller if Ian gives it the go ahead. The blue markings are the ribs of the cow stool hiding behind the legs. Its really going to stuff up the stack ability of it, so ill try to incorporate a herding option instead.

Selected 5 concepts to start from.
All stools are designed for minimum parts, and to be cut by laser or CNC and then later assembled by hand. If i end up using alucabond as a material, which i doubt i will, i think there will have to be a provision for some rubber grommets where it meets the ground. It may end up to dry a material though. I like the objects to parody a personaltity or a role; something that makes a business man, as well as a teen punk, feel a bit self conscious like he is riding a tiny pony while waiting for a coffee. For that reason it is both the ponies and dogs design i am most fond of, followed by design one, which is also carries a strong stance. Like a little pissed off alien. The dog stool is quite welcoming and patient.
I think if we are offered an opportunity to create an element that is used by someone, it should at least be fun-There is alot of serious kicking around.
